First Post and some Q&As

First post on Dreamwidth! After heavy research into blogging platforms that didn't suck, I chose HERE to post my reviews/opinions on my vast stationery collection. That includes:
  • Planners
  • Writing Utensils (pens, pencils, highlighters, etc)
  • Notebooks
  • Tools (scissors, rulers, staplers)
  • Accessories (washi tape, stickers, stamps, erasers)
  • And SO much more!
My home office is an absolute paradise of all of these things, and I've been DYING to write about my favorite use cases for a long time. I just didn't have anywhere to put my thoughts.

Q: Why am I doing this?
A: I have been collecting and using office supplies and stationery for all of my life. It's a hobby and I like when people ask "do you have a pen I could borrow?" and being able to answer, "OF COURSE I DO!" and then showing them my wares.

Q: How many of X do you have?

A: A lot.

Q: Do you have X pen/pencil/notebook?
A: Chances are, yes. If not, I probably have in the past. If not, I'll probably get it in the future sometime to see what its like. (And yes, it will get used.)

Q: Is this an obsession (e.g. hoarding)?
A: No, just a hobby. My home office is small but navigable. I don't go broke at the expense of this hobby and I don't neglect other duties/hobbies/people for it, either. I have other hobbies (gardening, writing books, reading, learning languages), but I am just devoting this blog to this hobby. Maybe I'll talk about my other hobbies eventually too.

Q: Where do you purchase most of your things?
A: Office supply stores, tiny mom-and-pop stores, and, of course, JetPens.

If there are any others that I think of, I'll post them.
I think my next post will be about planners.
